o you know how long I've been looking for videos on youtube from a certain purple loving high heel wearing short statured musician?

Ever since I discovered youtube. That's how long!

If I DID find a video with that person, it was usually just a picture while a song played in the background.

I gave up.

A few months ago, a friend sent me the links to several rehearsal videos of His Purple Badness that were taken in the 80s. By the time I checked my e-mail that day, only one of them was still working. The others had been taken down.

He must have someone one staff who continually searches "the internets" (his word, not mind) for his image or music.

Whatever.

I found some videos.

I don't know how they've managed to stay up for more than one day, but I'm not taking any chances by naming the litigious...musician.

very summer, I say that I'm going to get rid of ALL the crap that we don't need anymore.

We started yesterday with Evan's room. He was thrilled. ;-) He has clothes that he hasn't worn since 2nd grade or something. But rather than throw them away, he rips them up and makes costumes for himself (Ninja or whatever). So we started throwing away size 12 shirts, LOL. He wasn't happy.

I know I should have bundled up all the clothes that are too small for him but still good enough to give away, but *sigh* I don't know if I have the energy to do that. Plus I have to wash them first.

Yes, I still have clothes I haven't worn since HS, but who cares? My sofa patterned suit jacket might come back in style. And my neon green Chuck Taylor knockoffs too...

Whatever.

30 minutes a day until I have more room to buy more shit and fill up all the black holes (closets that are never opened) in the house again.

This song, Lookin Boy has been going through my head all weekend.

No idea why.

Probably from the So You Think you can Dance auditions. And before I forget, have you seen "Jesse James is a dead man" on Spike TV? Watch it. I don't know why he's trying to kill himself, but it will be entertaining until he does...



We were supposed to go to his school for the free lunch program they have every summer. We haven't gone since he was in kindergarten & went there before we went to the pool. But, of course, I couldn't get to sleep until 9ish this morning.

Last thing I knew, The Boy was still awake too.

Thanks to Daddy Papersurfer, we've both become addicted to Spymaster.

Anyway, I've forgotten what I was saying. I woke up about an hour ago and cleared out all the songs from my iTunes that I haven't played since 2007 or before (yes, I had some shit I haven't played since 2005...)

Now I need to take a nap.

And wait for The Boy to wake up so we can do another 30 minutes on his room.

was asleep this morning and this video came on and woke me up. I recorded the whole show (something on VH1). I got to see "So What" by Pink (the video is funny) and I watched "If I were a boy" my Ms Sasha Fierce (Beyonce).

Anyway, here's NKOTB. I think it's funny that now they're doing Temptations moves in the video and Neyo is like 15 years younger than them and he's the new kid (relatively) on the block, LOL.

I'm not really crazy about this song "Rock With U", but the video is good! (So much better than the cereal bowl disaster that was "Feedback")

I love the way they made it seem like it was all one take. There aren't 5,000 cuts like most videos these days (which kind of make me dizzy).

YAY for making a video the way videos should be made. Make the cuts seamless. Let us ENJOY the dancing or whatever is going on in the shot. Not everyone has the attention span of a gnat.

My favorite Janet Jackson song EVER

I haven't seen this video since 1993 probably.

The version in this song is not the song I have. I like the extended version. In the video, they have added extra guitar and punched up her vocals. Doesn't sound enough like the song I listen to in my car, LOL.

But I still like the video, I guess.
