Remember a long time ago...

O

n my blog when I used to post as I was listening to music?

I decided that tomorrow's post is going to be my favorite songs from when I was growing up, but then I started thinking about other crap, so we're going to revisit my "Now listening to" days.

----------------
Listening to: Blackstreet - Don't Leave Me via FoxyTunes

Is anyone else watching "Life on Mars"? (ABC on Thursdays, I think) A guy gets hit buy a car in 2008 and when he wakes up, he's back in 1973 or something.

This week Whoopi Goldberg guest starred, but that wasn't the best part. The very best part was when he was taken hostage by some Black Panther type gang and one of them was freestyling. That's what Dude called it. The black guy was like "Rhyming. You're inventing new words. Can you rhyme? You'd better rhyme right now or this other dude gets it". (Threatening to shoot the man with him - who happened to be Big Love from House.)

Black Panther is yelling and Dude and:

Me - C'mon, he has to know at least one rap song. He can't at least do Ice Ice Baby?

So Dude broke into Ice Ice Baby. I LOVED IT!

Listening to: KCI and JoJo - All My Life via FoxyTunes

On the last new episode of Celebrity Rehab, I learned a little more about Rodney King. I only know him as the dude who got a beat down from the LAPD. But he's a really good man!

It definitely changed my perspective on him. I had always assumed that he was a loser who just happened to get stopped by the wrong cops. Turns out that he had just gotten a new job and was celebrating with some friends. He grew up knowing that if a black guy gets pulled over, he's going to get beaten so he tried to evade the police for a bit.

When he realized that he couldn't outrun them, he pulled over and immediately got down on the ground and they just started beating him for no real reason.

Whatever.

Plus, he looks good. :-)

So anyway, there's at least one person in the world who changed my opinion of him in a positive way from doing reality TV.

Keep up the good work, Rodney!

Listening to: Marvin Gaye - Got To Give It Up (Part 1) via FoxyTunes

Now I forgot WTF I was going to say. Man, I love Got to give it up. I don't care where I am, I HAVE to chair dance when I hear that song. They don't make music like this anymore.

Let me try to remember.

It was something about another TV show...

OH!

On the last Sons of Anarchy, there was another violent outburst that made me think "I fu@king LOVE this show!"

If you aren't watching it, please start. I want to talk about it with someone. Only Becky's husband watches it (that I know of) and he's not a member JJHF like she is. :-(

Listening to: Boyz II Men - Mowtown Philly via FoxyTunes

I feel like my day was so busy today.

It really wasn't.

I went to MD's house after the Charter dude came over so that I could watch The View, because by recording a Dr. Who episode & Lost at the same time, I didn't record The View.

Yes, I've seen all of the Dr Who episodes, but I like to re-watch some of them.

So we watched it and then I went to Wal-mart to pick up pictures of Evan that I had taken there because he forgot to turn in the check for his school pictures.

But it's cool. I got these pictures for $5 AND I got to pick the pose. The only thing is that his name isn't on the front like they would have been in the school pictures. But everyone who will be getting a picture knows who he is, so it isn't really necessary, right?

What else did I do today?

----------------
Listening to: Jasmine Guy - Try Me via FoxyTunes

While I was at Wal-Mart I was supposed to pick up some ink for my printer. I told MD about all the Barack Obama newspaper covers on the 5th and she wants me to print them out so she can do a scrap book.

I got groceries. Returned the useless Flash Drive that Charter told me I could use for my DVR (the one that's getting replace tomorrow). I even went back to the electronics department.

Didn't get the ink. And I didn't remember until I had already walked out of the door.

But I finally remember "my" greeter's name. It's Terri. I dated a guy named Terry, so that will be easy to remember. :-)

I have the mind of a senior citizen, I swear. I can't remember ANYTHING. I still don't know my new phone #, just my old one for the phone I handed down to Evan.

*sigh*

I think I've posted 50 times today. At least, I feel like it.

I'm done. But I will leave you with this. I still love the hell out of this song!

Please tell me you're watching these trainwrecks.

F

irst is the return of Celebrity Rehab. I get to see more of Dr. Drew's Gun Show. WHOOOOO HOOOOOO.

Anyway, Gary Busey is there this time.

He claims he's 13 years sober (that's if you don't include his 'medicinal' marijuana).

He thought he was there to be a counselor.

...

People, you have to watch this show just to see him. Furreal. I did not know that he'd had brain surgery. Maybe that's why he's so insane?

Also on this season are Rodney King. (Yes, THE Rodney King.) Some chick from American Idol season 1, Tawny Kitaen (who looks like The Cat Lady Jr *shudder*), Jeff Conaway (back again), Amber Smith, Rod Stewart's son, and Steven Adler. I think that's it.

Here's Dr. Drew's recap of the first episode:

Next is Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling with Frank Stallone, Dennis Rodman, Danny Bonaduce, Screech (Dustin Diamond), Tiffany ('I think we're alone now' fame), Ian Ziering's plastic wife, Tabitha from Bewitched (She looks the same!), some UFC fighter named Butterbean, Todd Bridges, Trishelle from The Real World Las Vegas... I think that's it?

Really, I just want to see somebody kick Screech's ass "accidentally". It's interesting watching them learn the moves, though.

Danny Bonaduce is crazy. You knew that already, but this really works for him inside the wrestling ring. It's okay to watch if nothing else is on...

Both of these shows come on multiple times, so just check your local listings. :-)

Celebrity Rehab

This is the only one of MY shows that I've watched today.

After I post this, I'm going to watch Celebrity Apprentice & whatnot..

Daniel Baldwin is an ass. After throwing a fit about the chicks in the pool with t-shirts & no bra, we find out that he was sending Mary Cary "pictures" of himself. (He asked her to delete them) AND/OR asking her to send some of herself.

WHY do men do this???? I mean, send pictures of themselves over the internet. I don't know about other women, but penises just look ridiculous to me. Which is why, I guess, male nudity is usually for comedic effect in movies. Sorry, dudes. But your "junk" just looks silly to me, LOL.

Dr. Drew looked as lickable as ever.

After Evan watched Human Weapon & House of Payne, I started watching Celeb Rehab.

Me - Dr. Drew has some nice guns!
E - Ew
Me - Even Chelsea Handler was talking about them. She showed him in his black t-shirt and kept replaying the part that showed his arms.
E - I don't want to hear this.
Me - Hugh has nice arms too.
E - Saggy old arms?
Me - They aren't saggy.
E - Wrinkled, then.
Me - NO! That's why I like it when he doesn't wear a jacket or a button up shirt over his t-shirt. So I can look at his arms. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
E - *leaving*

HA! He's so funny. I wonder when/if my talking about men that I find attractive will stop grossing him out?

That is all.

Celebrity Rehab

Have you been watching this?

I have, I've just forgotten to blog about it (maybe?)

It's an 'inside view' of what rehab is really like. It just happens to have celebrities as the patients.

The celebs are:
Jeff Conaway - Kenickie from the movie "Grease" & Bobby on the TV Show Taxi.

Jaimee Foxworth - Judy on Family Matters, she also did a few porn movies to support her drug habit.

Seth "Shifty" Binzer - From the band Crazytown

Ricco Rodriguez - UFC Fighter

Daniel Baldwin - Alec's brother, LOL. He was in John Carpenter's "Vampires"

Brigitte Nielson - Sylvester Stallone's Ex. Flava Flav's Ex.GF. She was also "Red Sonja"

Chyna (Joan Marie Laurer) - Former Pro Wrestler.

Mary Carey - Porn Star. I think she also ran for Governor or something at some point. *rolling eyes*

It's an interesting show. It's not sensational at all. You know? Like the celebs DO NOT look good at all times. I can't imagine that they stop the cameras and ask Jeff Conaway to throw up again because they didn't have a good angle, you know?

This is a true "Reality Show".

Makes me glad that I never got into drugs or alcohol. Because detox is a motherfucker!

And it reawakens my lust for Dr. Drew. I had SUCH a crush on him back when Loveline was on MTV with him & Adam Corolla.

Yummy.

Thank God there's a new House episode this week or Hugh might lose his place in my fantasies. Dr. Drew looks veddy veddy nice in his black T-shirt. *swoon*

Whatever. This isn't about my lusty ways.

Here's Dr. Drew's "Analysis" of Episode 3
