Just so happy my wecam is working...

Feeling Normal

T

hat I made 2 stoopid short videos "Seinfeld Style" (about nothing, get it? I just made it up! But you can use it if you want to!)

Limerick Eyes Limerick Off This is my first time doing this meme. I chose to start with "A fellow was feasting his eyes…"

A fellow was feasting his eyes
On a very delicious surprise
A platter of bacon made into a pie
So big he would surely die.

??? I suck, LOL. I've always HATED poetry & I thought limericks were supposed to be dirty? I can do dirty! ;-p

Got a response from Madeline ( the host of the Meme - and with her permission, I'm posting it here:

Thanks for participating in this week's Limerick-Off. I just wanted to let you know that your limerick got off to a good start through the word bacon. But then your limerick form went astray. So I edited it for you to show you an example of a proper limerick using your material. I hope it helps and I hope to see you again in future limerick challenges.

A fellow was feasting his eyes
On a very delicious surprise
A platter of bacon
Was his for the takin'
But was likely to cause his demise.

So much better, right? Just call me "Jelly Face"! ;-)

Weekend Q&A

What tv show is your current guilty pleasure?
I don't remember, LOL. There is 1 show I'm so ashamed to admit that I watch that I won't even post it on GetGlue, LOL

Oh! Occasionally I'll record E! News or Access Hollywood or Extra if there is a salacious story on. It's guilty because I 'preach" that people are obsessed with celebrity & here I am watching to see why Khloe Kardashian went on a twitter rant, LOL.

What is the funniest thing you've ever been told by a child (Age 12 & Under)?

Curious as a Cat

1) What is your most favorite pair of shoes ever? Explain.
It was a pair of platform black suede sandals. They were dressy enough for work, they were comfortable & THEY MADE ME TALLER! This was back in the 90s, obviously. Back when I still worked AND could wear heels without fear of breaking my neck.

2) If faced with it, could you rescue someone you didn't know, even if it put your life in peril to do so?
It would depend on the situation. Swimming? Sure! My body is a flotation device AND I'm not obviously disabled underwater. :-) Other than that, I can't say I would, I'd probably do more harm than good. :-(

3) If there were a holiday in your honor what would it celebrate?
How flipping AWESOME I am, duh!

4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

When The Boy was a tot, we were in my other home (Wal-Mart) and he pinched one of those cacti that look soft & fluffy. !!!!!! It was hell trying to get all of those little spines out of his wittle fingers. But he never had to be told not to touch a cactus again!

Myay, that's all 4 now!

Wednesday Memeage - 1/23/08

That's my Answer! This week's questions were posted by "Guests", so the actual question is a link to the website of the author of that question.

If you could have any chef from The Food Network come and fix you dinner, who would you choose? Paula Deen. I watch a lot of Food Network shows, but the only recipes I ever actually cook are from Paula Deen.

What is the name of your blog and why did you choose that name? Angelika. Because I couldn't think of anything else at the time, LOL.

If you could chose to enter the world of any movie, which movie would it be and why? Harry Potter. Because I think being able to do magic would be AWESOME. But I'd probably be in Azkaban. Because I'm evil like that...

Tuesday Memeage - 1/22/08

Tina's Tuesdays
Topic: Shopping

1. What was the last thing you bought? Groceries

2. What things do you have on your list to buy? Some movie, I'll remember when I see it, LOL.

3. What was the most expensive purchase you have ever made? A car

That's my answer!

Do you proofread your blog posts before you publish them? Yes. But sometimes I still find errors after I've posted, LOL.

Topical Tuesday #8 My Most Hated Celebrity

Oprah. I hate her with a passion. With most people, I just don't care enough to hate them, but I HATE OPRAH!

My hatred for Oprah started a long time ago. When white people constantly told me "You remind me of Oprah." Oprah is ugly. I do not look anything like the bitch. The fact that I am intelligent and the only thing you can think of to say is "You remind me of Oprah" saddens & disappoints me. Oprah is NOT the only intelligent black woman in the world. Look around, for God's sake.

Then when Oprah started having what I call "The Church of Oprah", my hatred of her went over the top. The fact that GROWN WOMEN scream their fucking throats raw & have to change their panties because they get so moist just because they see this sanctimonious bitch drives me batty. Have they no self respect? DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE?

When you're a teenager and you freak the fuck out over your favorite rock star, I understand. You're a teenager. When you're an adult, you should have some fucking self control.

Oprah is not God or Jesus. She does not know everything. She is not the smartest person in the world. Her word is not gospel.

I've gotten a headache just thinking about this bitch.

I HATE HER!

And she reminds me of Mommy Dearest's Other Daughter, LOL. That's probably the biggest thing. They both have that "Holier Than Thou" attitude.

Fucking BitchWhores!

2. book? Wolves of Calla by Stephen King
3. item of clothing? Any pair of sleep pants
4. actor? Hugh Laurie. Dur.
5. movie? I have a lot of favorites. I'll say Talladega Nights.
6. color? Orange
7. time of day? Night
8. season? Winter
9. holiday? Halloween
10. animal? Jaguar

Sunday Seven

Name 7 of the 500 highest rated websites that you hardly ever visit.

1. MySpace - I have an account. But I opened it years ago before I realized that it's really for teenagers and indie bands trying to market their music.
2. Facebook - I just opened an account the other day. Because one of the tips for increasing my blog traffic was publicizing it on Facebook. I haven't been back, LOL.
3. Windows Live - Never been there.
4. Ebay - Never visited.
5. Microsoft Network - I don't know if I've ever been there, but I don't remember being there.
6. Craigslist - Never
7. Megarotic - WTF? Sounds like a mix of Mega and Erotic. Like a porn site. Never been there and definitely have no desire after seeing the name, LOL.

Interesting. I only looked at the first 12 top rated websites and I haven't been to 5 of them...
