Photo Friday - Before & After

Today's theme at Crazy Hip Blog Mamas is Before & After.

Evan is the easiest b&a to do, LOL.

He's 3 months old in the first picture. And he's the 11 year old linebacker with the massive shoulders in the second. :-)

As I was reading the comments at CHBM, I saw that Adventures in Babywearing is having a contest. They want bloggers to show themselves without makeup and before any retouching and then after.

*gulp*

So here's my entry.

The Before picture is a real smile. All gums. No makeup (obviously. I'm Oprah ugly in that picture) and no retouching. The After is me with makeup (YAY!), Gray contact lenses, a fake smile and some color added to my face.

The weird thing is, I don't usually wear makeup. So the Before is what everyone sees, LOL. I'll have to remember not to smile for real in public...

  5. Hmm... yet another blogger who looks good even without makeup. Perhaps it was the toothpaste dripping from my mouth?

  6. That adorable baby boy grew into a handsome young man. Not surprising with such a beautiful Mommy, even with no makeup!

  7. Your son is/was adorable! Don't you just wish you could put bricks on his head to stop him from growing anymore?

And while you do look GORGEOUS in the 2nd picture, you look just as good in the first, especially since your smile is genuine.

  8. What exactly is "Oprah ugly"? The good thing about not regularly wearing makeup is that when you actually do, everybody is like "WOW you look great!" I think the before picture is Gorgeous.

  13. Your before picture shows you to be a cheery, good humoured individual. The kind of person that would make you smile within a minute of meeting them. Your after picture, you still can see the smile but I can't get over how much the contacts change your look! I have had to sit here at my computer and stare at the differences! Wow! Regardless, you are beautiful in both of them.

  16. I agree with monkey giggles. You should smile all the time. You are Gor-geous. No Oprah-without-makeup ugly there. Although I think she's stunning au naturale also.
Anyway, I love love love the eye shot in your tag picture.
