I got my Steampunk Ring that Relax Max won and gave to me!!!!!!!!!!

It's silver with a purple crystal. I love it! Luckily, I painted my nails last night so I could take pictures with my sucky webcam.

Isn't it purty?!?!?



You should definitely go to the CatherinetteRings Etsy shop so you can get a better view than I can give you. The picture there is of a blue stone, but my ring looks the same other than that.

When I finish paying MD back for my Root Canal & stuff, I'm going to get some more! You should go get some too! This particular ring was only $45 (if you had to pay, LMAO) and I'm sure no one else in my town has a ring like it!

his may be old news to some of you, but I didn't find out about this until this weekend when I was dropping cards.

Technically Easy had an article about using Browsershots to view your template design and make sure that it's compatible with different browsers & operating systems.

It's really easy. Just go to the site and enter your url. I entered mine, went to the bathroom & when I came back, this was waiting for me:



From this EXTREMELY EASY TO USE site I learned that:

1. I have another reason to hate Internet Explorer. I don't like the way my site shows up there. No idea why it doesn't display correctly, either. And it's not just 6.0 that shows it that way. It's any and all Internet Explorers & Windows combination (that I tried, anyway.)

2. Konqueror 3.5 Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (WHAT? Never heard of it.) doesn't show my site at all.

3. Dillo (I first thought it said Dildo & wondered why anyone would name a browser after a sex toy...) is farked up! That's another browser I've never heard of.

But, for the post part, everyone is seeing what I see in the colors & whatnot that I chose. :-)

I'm really happy about that because I can't begin to imagine trying to make my blog compatible with all web browsers & operating systems. Even the people who don't see exactly what I see are seeing it almost the way I want it.

This is just one of those times when I have to breathe and 'let go'. I can't control everything, as much as I might want to.

For those of you using IE, let me encourage you to download Firefox or Opera (I've never used Opera, but it looks like my blog shows up well on it. And that's what this is all about, after all.)

For those of you using Conqueror or Dillo...I don't know what to tell you. So soddy.

y favorite aunt has worked at a particular place for about 20 years. She always comes home with stuff that she 'gets' from them. When I worked at a hotel as a housekeeper I used to bring home almost empty rolls of toilet paper or unopened beer that I found in the fridge. It's a fringe benefit of a shitty job as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, since I've had all these stinky workmen in and out of my house lately, I've gone through 2 (TWO) bottles of Odoban and I can't stand it. So I asked if she could bring me one of those automatic airspray thingees that they have at her job.

She did!

Unfortunately, she brought me Bayberry as the scent. I prefer Baby Powder or Clean Linen or something like that. But beggars can't be choosers. I'll just look for refills at Wal-Mart or whatever when I get the chance.

And Bayberry is better than Sour Sweat & Cigar scent, nodamene? It goes off Automatically every 15 minutes. Evan likes the scent. I think it smells like 70s cologne. *shudder*

Whatever.

**Update** OMG! I put the sprayer up on the wall right next to the door. It goes off every 15 minutes. Last night it kept scaring me half unto death every time it sprayed because the little click that accompanies the spray kept sounding like someone was trying to open my front door.

So we will be turning off the sprayer at night so I don't have a heart attack...
