Just a quickie

Feeling Whatever

S

o I went to my doctor's office today about my right foot. Got the x-ray.

First, this was a new physician's assistant. I am SOOOOOOOO GLAAAAAAAAADDDDDD! I hated that little skinny bitch who used to work there, LOL. I'd make sure the doctor was in before I made an appt because I hated her so much. She prescribed antibiotics for every fucking thing and couldn't prescribe narcotics, so what's the point?

Entyway, my doc looked @ my x-ray & said "There's no fracture, but your foot is a little deformed, so I'm sending your x-rays to a (whatever they are... orthopedic specialist?) and I'll call you Monday to see if we need to do anything else.

I can tell you right now that we're not doing anything else because I'm not having surgery unless it's life or death.

Apparently, another splendid side effect of Multiple Sclerosis is bone deformation in extreme cases.

...

It's rare, but it happens.

Proteus Syndrome affected footWhatever. Unless my foot starts growing out of control, I will not do anything about it. Why? I'm still walking. It's not life or death. Fuck it.

Anyway, the PA came back in to wrap my foot. She told me to keep it elevated as much as possible.

She said, and I quote, "It has to be elevated above your heart when you're lying down, so just make sure it's up higher than your nipples."

!!!!!!!!!!

I was so surprised to hear that I didn't even react to it, LOL. I said "I always sleep with two pillows under my feet anyway, so that's no problem."

OMG. I have to elevate my feet above my nipples.

Good to know, LOL.

Anyway, I got a script for Ambien, so I'm fiddnuh take one and get some geedee sleep that hopefully isn't interrupted every other hour.

Nite!
