He's only 12. He can't be driving already! Have I known you that long? I guess. Well, the only thing to do is keep letting him drive and try not to tell him too much or give him too much advice, as you said. Only practice will make him good at it. But you know that. And keep other teenagers out of the car. For sure. The good thing is that while driving is new to him, he will be very willing to go out and do your errands for you gladly. :) You may have to be with him until he gets his regular license though, so you won't have that benefit at first. Your hair looks good. :)
@Relax Max With a permit in this state a licensed diver (me) has to be with him at all times. And I think he can't drive after 9 pm. There's no way in hell I'll let him drive with his friends or anyone other than my licensed family members until he's got a job & can buy his own POS! ☺
@Daddy Papersurfer Actually, driving on the wrong side of the road might work out since he does it half the time anyway! I'll send him to you & you can be the passenger. ;-)

ReplyDelete@Relax Max Oh yeah, he'll be 16 on 12/30 so HE is that old. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am at this moment wrapping myself in foam rubber, polystyrene and a mink coat - just in case.
