he other day Evan & I went to Wal-mart to get the dog food for Tiki.As we were walking in, I realized that he's getting really tall. (5'9" at the last check).
*sigh*
Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday when he was that 4 year old holding my hand and looking both ways.Now he's a 14 year old who won't let me touch him in public.
Of course in the summer when he's home all the effing time and driving me crazy it feels like it will never end. :-)
I'm proud of the son I have, I'm just nostalgic for the little Hunny Bunny I used to have too.
He's still a Hunny Bunny ...... just bigger. Next time you're out together give him a GREAT BIG HUG!!!

ReplyDeleteDP - I used to cuddle with my Hunny Bunny. Kinda creepy if I cuddled with my teenager, LOL. But yeah, he's still my baby.
ReplyDeleteI gave him a big hug the other day before my mother cut my foot and he stared turning in circles because he knows it makes me dizzy, LOL. So no public hugging.
Foot's good today. Monday it was not so good because in spite of the pain killers I couldn't get any sleep so I was up all night cleaning and it swelled up.
Spent all day yesterday in bed and it's back to normal today. Barely hurts at all. :-)
Awwww look at himm, he's so cute. I know he doesn't like it when we say it, but it's soooo true and he knows it too.

ReplyDeleteTiki is about 2 or 3 feet tall on all fours. I haven't measured. My son is 5'9.
