On this day in Black History

Henry Highland Garnet, first Black to speak in the Capitol, delivered memorial sermon on the abolition of slavery at services in the House of Representatives.

You know, some of the most interesting/profound things in black history didn't happen in February, LOL. It gets harder to pick a "Black Fact" each day.
