ere's a new 'feature' on my blog. When I can't think of anything to write (or can't remember), I shall ask a question.
Answer in the comments.
Thank you.
"If you had to name your blog after a song, what song would it be?"This week's question is "If you had to name your blog after a song, what song would it be?" Artist & Song.
My answer is "Yah mo be there" - Michael McDonald & James Ingram
Because I've always found that writing helps me figure out what I'm feeling.
It's kind of like praying. I guess. Except you get answers (sometimes) instead of just putting it out there in the universe and hoping for some sign to help you understand.
Blogging also helps me know that I'm not the only one feeling something. Logically, I know this, but it is nice to get an "amen" from the blogosphere.
Plus it's nice when I'm feeling like crap to know that somebody (even if it's someone I've never met IRL) cares.
It was either this or "Me, Myself and I" by Dela Soul.
:-)
So what's your answer?
Hmm....Tenacious D's "Tribute". It's not the greatest Blog in the world, it's a Tribute lol.
ReplyDeleteBruce Springsteen, "It's Hard to be a Saint in the City." As you may recall, I am struggling to be a faithful Christian.
ReplyDeleteAnd some days it seems damn near impossible. But I'm trying.
Although the song isn't by him, I would name it "I Think The World Needs a Drink" sung by Eric Church. Check it out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHa-imw4wwc
ReplyDeleteI really like this song, so true! Regards!
Julie - I love that song by Tenacious D!
ReplyDeleteCardio - Do saints have a lot of fun? I wouldn't even attempt that...
Package - I agree with the sentiments in the song. :-)
I got nothin. I don't relate to anything right now. I think I have to go away and think about it for a while.
ReplyDelete'I am the Walrus' and I have no idea why except I can imagine some really good graphics that would go with that. Perhaps I'll register it on Blogger!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are too many songs and I can't pick just one! No fair!
ReplyDeleteOK, finally . . . "Everyday I Write the Book" by Elvis Costello.
ReplyDeleteDP - Oh Lord. Goo goo gjoo to you.
ReplyDeleteMargaret - Make a decision!
DG - I think I like that song?
Birth of a legend by Graeme Revell (it's the main titles from the Crow)
ReplyDeleteHe Still Loves Me (@cardiogirl - no matter what you've done God still loves you)
ReplyDeleteLife Thru a Lens by Robbie Williams
It's not very self-explanatory, but the song "For Good" from the Broadway musical "Wicked" is my favorite song, because it salutes the amazing power of friendship.
